World Finals Housing Grants

The 2013 World Finals Housing Grant program is now complete and closed for the year. Happily, COU was able to provide 100 housing packages to deserving teams from around the world. Unfortunately, this is in stark contrast to the over 1,400 requests we received. We wish we could have given grants to everyone.

Congratulations to those teams receiving grants and best of luck to everyone at World Finals. See you in Michigan!

Association Development Grants

COU provides grants to Odyssey of the Mind associations for a variety of projects, including start up costs for new associations, special projects that will help the Odyssey of the Mind program as a whole, and specific, targeted efforts to grow the program in your area. Scholarships

Scholarship awards may be applied toward the cost of obtaining an education at any university, college, community college, or specialized school.

Eligibility

To become eligible for a scholarship complete and mail the original and one copy of the following:

1. The completed scholarship form.
2. A letter of recommendation by an Odyssey of the Mind coach, high school administrator, teacher or college professor. This is limited to one page, double-spaced or hand-printed.
3. A response to the following three questions.Your response may take any form, format or style you wish, but should be limited to no more than 350 words for each question.
• How has Odyssey of the Mind changed your life?
• How will you continue to use what you have learned in Odyssey of the Mind in your day-to-day life?
• How will you give back to Odyssey of the Mind so others may benefit from the program?
