Coach and Judge Training
Coach Training
Coach and judge training materials have been developed exclusively for the Odyssey Inclusive program. All coaches and judges will complete online training modules before attending an in-person or live webinar training session.

The Odyssey Inclusive Long Term problem

Appropriate assistance in Odyssey Inclusive

The style categories for the Odyssey Inclusive problem

Spontaneous problem solving

Tournament Day and team paperwork
The live training session will cover the Odyssey Inclusive long term problem and style in more detail, as well as more information about the role of the coach. As teams approach their local tournaments, a live webinar will be provided about completing paperwork and what to expect at a tournament.
Once coaches have purchased a membership for Odyssey Inclusive, someone from their local Odyssey of the Mind association will contact them about how to complete coach training.
Judge Training
The online modules for Odyssey Inclusive judges will address topics such as:

Scoring Odyssey Inclusive performances

Live training will address details about the Odyssey Inclusive long term and spontaneous problems, as well as tournament logistics.
Once judges have been registered for the Odyssey Inclusive tournament, they will be provided information about training.
